Nicaragua has a stellar advocacy network and world-class riding trails. Whether it be the other-worldly volcano trails across the country, the coffee/pineapple plantation routes that ring Managua, the Alps-esque mountain rides near Esteli or the singletracks that hug the Pacifica Coast with jaw dropping views, Nicaragua offers a plethora of fat tire destinations. Perhaps most impressive are the trail systems near Managua urban areas which include hundreds of miles of shared-use trails and even a "competitive track," designed for higher speed non-motorized trail use. All this success is a result of strong local chargers whose work has made Nicaragua a Fantasy Island for mountain bikers. But if you are looking to see a lot of riders on the trails....they aren’t here yet.
Century 21 Mountain Bike Team
Century 21 Gold Coast Realty has its own mountain bike team made up of Nicaraguans, Columbians, Europeans and broker/owner Barry Oliver.
The team races in both Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
